How excellent is Thy name in all the earth!

Defining Names of God

El-Shaddai "God of the Mountains" or "The Almighty God." This term is more closely associated with the patriarchal period and can be found most frequently in the Books of Genesis and Job. Exodus 6:3 underlines El-Shaddai as the name revealed to the patriarchs. God used it to make His Covenant with Abraham (Gen. 17:1-2).

El-Elyon "The Most High God" or "The Exalted One" (Num. 24:16; 2 Sam. 22:14; Ps. 18:13). Melchizadek was a priest of El-Elyon and blessed Abraham in this name (Gen. 14:19-20), refering to El-Elyon as "Maker of heaven and earth."

El-Olam "God of Eternity" or "God the Everlasting One" (Gen. 21:33; Isa. 26:4; Ps. 90:2). God's sovereignty extends through the passing of time and beyond our ability to see or understand. This name was used of Jesus in Micah 5:2 But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting (Olam).

El-Roi "God who Sees me" or "God of Vision" (Gen. 16:13). God sees needs of His people and responds.

Elohim A plural form for deity. It is a frequently used term and the most comprehensive of the El combinations. The plurality of this word is not a hint of polytheism. It is a plural of majesty. It is a revelation of the infinite nature of God. In the creation narrative, we read: "Then Elohim said, 'Let us make man in our image.' " (Gen. 1:26) This name suggests that there is a mystery to the Creator-God which humankind cannot fully fathom. God is absolute, infinite Lord over creation and history. The Christian sees in this term a pointer to the trinitarian reality of creation.
Other Uses The name El is frequently combined with other nouns or adjectives. Some examples are: Israe-el (One who is ruled by God), Beth-el (House of God), Peni-el (Face of God). In the crucifixion narrative (Mark 15:34), Jesus employed a form of El when he cried from the cross, "Eloi, Eloi," "my God, my God," quoting Psalm 22.

The Covenant Name The covenant name for God was "Yahweh." Israel's faith was a new response to God based on His disclosure. This name was so unique and powerful that God formed a covenant with His people based upon his self-revelation. See YHWH.

Yahweh Titles appear in English translations as Jehovah. See YHWH.
Yahweh-Jireh "The Lord will Provide" (Gen. 22:14). This was the name given to the location where God provided a ram for Abraham to sacrifice in the place of Isaac. This name is a testimony to God's deliverance.
Yahweh-Nissi "The Lord is my Banner" (Ex. 17:15). Moses acribed this name to God after a victory over the Amalekites. The name of God was considered a banner under which Israel could rally for victory. The Lord's name was the battle cry.
Yahweh-Mekaddesh "The Lord Sanctifies" (Ex. 31:13). Holiness is the central revelation of God's character. God calls for a people who are set apart.
Yahweh-Shalom "The Lord is Peace" (Judg. 6:24). This was the name of the altar that Gideon built at Ophrah signifying that God brings well-being not death to His people.

Yahweh-Sabaoth "The Lord of Hosts" (1 Sam. 1:3; Jer. 11:20; compare 1 Sam. 17:45). This can also be rendered, "The Lord Almighty." It represents God's power over the nations and was closely tied to Shiloh, to the ark of the covenant, and to prophecy. The title designates God as King and ruler of Israel, its armies, its Temple, and of all the universe.

Yahweh-Rohi "The Lord is my Shepherd" (Ps. 23:1).
Yahweh-Tsidkenu "The Lord is Our Righteousness" (Jer. 23:5-6; 33:16).
Yahweh-Shammah "The Lord is There" (Ezk. 48:35)

Jealous Exod 34:14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.

I AM Exod 3:14-15 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, hath sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

John 8:24-25 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I AM he, ye shall die in your sins. Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.

Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 8:56-58 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it,

and was glad. Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham. Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM.

A story!!

Here's an email I got. Read it; it's relevant to everybody.

How Can I Discover God's Will For My Life?
Proverbs 16:9

Have you ever wished you could sit down with God and have a good talk with him about your own life? Have you ever wished you could just look him in the eye say, "Lord, what do you want me to do?" All of us have moments when we want to hear God's voice or receive some definite sign regarding a relationship, a business decision, a career choice, or a major expenditure.

Our decisions really do matter. We make our decisions and our decisions turn around and make us. We face so many questions:
*Should I get married? If the answer is yes, should I marry Joe or Jake or Susan or Sally?
* Should I go to college? If the answer is yes, should I go to Alabama or Penn State or UCLA?
* I've been offered a new job. It's a good job. But I've got a good job. Should I take the new job? Or should I hold onto what I have?
* We have two children. We're thinking about having a third. Should we have another one? Or should we think about adopting?
* Is God calling me to the mission field? How can I be sure? Three mission boards are interested in me. How do I know which one to choose?

I know from personal experience that many of our high school seniors are wrestling with the big question-"What do I do when I graduate next June?"
Over the past few weeks I've written recommendation forms for various Christian colleges and state universities. That by the way is one of the favorite parts of my job. I enjoy talking with our students about their career choices and I am always glad to help them take that all-important next step. Most of our seniors have already turned in their applications.

Now it's nail-biting time. Which colleges will accept me? Which ones will say no? What if three say yes, but my personal favorite says no? What if they say yes, but I can't afford it? What do you do then? Is there any way to be 100% certain about God's will when you are choosing a college?
I think it would be lot easier if you could simply open the door one evening and be greeted by a chorus of angels chanting, "Georgia Tech! Georgia Tech! Georgia Tech!" Or if you got a special delivery letter from heaven that said, "Dear Beth, go to Wheaton. Love, God." That would make it easy. But it doesn't often happen that way. Most of the time we research, study, narrow the options, talk it over with trusted friends, pray about it, wait on the Lord, turn in our applications, and then in the end, we make our choice and hope for the best.

It's God's Problem, Not Ours

That, I think, raises the central issue for most people regarding God's will. We would like someone else to make the decision for us. If God would only tell us what he wanted in a given situation, we would do it. But most of the time we're left with something less than 100% certainty.

I'm going to tell you right up front that I don't believe there is any way for you to get 100% certainty before you sign on the dotted line. I think you can get 95% probability sometimes, but that's about as good as most of us will ever do in the decisions of life.

That leads me to share an important principle with you. With all my heart I believe the following statement is true:
God wants you to know his will more than you want to know it, therefore he takes personal responsibility to see that you discover it. Knowing God's will is ultimately God's problem, not yours. Let that last thought sink into your mind for a moment. You've probably never heard it put that way before.
Let me suggest what this really means:
1. He can put you exactly where he wants you to be.
2. He can arrange all the details years in advance.
3. He can open doors that seem shut tight.
4. He can remove any obstacle that stands in your way.
5. He can take your choices and fit them into his plan so that you end up at the right place at just the right time.
6. He can even take your mistakes and bring good out of them.
7. He can take tragedy and use it for your good and his glory.
All he needs-in fact the only thing he requires-is a willing heart. He just needs you to cooperate with him. This doesn't mean that you won't have to make decisions. But it does take the pressure off, because it means that you can trust God to take your decisions and use them to
accomplish his will in your life.

Four Verses to Think About

Recently I've been struck with the strong emphasis in the book of Proverbs on the sovereignty of God over our personal decisions. Let's take a quick look at four verses that help us see how God works in, with, through, and sometimes in spite of our decisions to accomplish his will in us.

Proverbs 16:9-"In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps."
I'd like you to underline the word determines. It doesn't say that God "directs" his steps(although that is true-see Proverbs 3:6), but rather that God determines his steps. It's a very
strong word that speaks of God's control of every detail in the universe.
Perhaps you've heard it said that "Man proposes, but God disposes." You can make all your plans, in fact you can have your life mapped out step by step, but in the end, God determines every step you take.

Proverbs 16:33-"The lot is cast into the lap, but its every decision is from the LORD."
Most of us don't understand the concept of "casting lots."
In the Old Testament, the Jews often used this method to determine God's will. It sometimes involved using different colored balls or rocks, mixing them together, and then seeing which one fell out of the bag first. In that sense casting lots is like rolling dice. It appears to be a random
act of chance. But God is behind those colored stones. He determines which one falls out of the bag first. This means that there are no "accidents" in life, no "random" events, and no such thing as "luck." Even seemingly meaningless things fit into his plan.

Proverbs 19:21-"Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails." Let me give you a paraphrase of this verse: "You can make all the plans you like, but God gets the last word." His purpose always prevails. Some translations say that God's purpose shall stand.
Most of our plans don't stand. They are like the leaves that blow away in the autumn wind. But when God determines to do something, it's gonna happen. You can write it down and take it to the bank. You can make all the speeches you want and announce your long-range plans, your ten-year goals, and your personal objectives, but just remember this. When you are finished, God always gets the last word.

Proverbs 20:24-"A man's steps are directed by the LORD. How then can anyone understand his own way?"
There is something hidden in the Hebrew text that you wouldn't know simply from reading the English translation. The word translated "man's" in the first phrase comes from the Hebrew word gibor, which refers to a mighty warrior, a ruler, or a potentate. Solomon means to say that even the steps of a mighty man are ordained by God. The word "anyone" in the second phrase comes from the Hebrew word adam, which is the generic word for mankind. The meaning is, "If God directs the steps of the mighty, how then can an ordinary man understand his own way?" The answer is, he can't! That's the whole point of the verse. We're like a man stumbling around in the darkness, bumping into things, tripping over ourselves, trying to find our way forward. We can't say for sure where we've come from, where we are right now, or where we're going to be
tomorrow. Only God can see the big picture of life.

The First Rule of the Spiritual Life: He's God and we're not!

Those four verses lead me directly to the first rule of the spiritual life. Understand this and you'll be OK, forget this and you will walk in continual confusion. This is where all spiritual understanding must begin.

When we forget that rule, we think that we're in control of our own life and that everything depends on us. So we obsess, we hyperventilate, we try to control everything and everyone around us, we worry over all our decisions, and we spend hours fussing over the minutiae of life.

"I'm going to be up all night anyway."

What a relief to realize that God is God and you're not. Now you can rip that big "G" off your sweatshirt. You don't have to play God anymore and you don't have to try to control everything around you. You can sleep well when you realize that God is God and you are not. Corrie Ten Boom was having trouble going to sleep one night because she was so worried about the affairs of her life. She tried praying but it didn't help. Finally, the Lord said to her, "Go to sleep, Corrie. I'm going to be up all night anyway."

Let me wrap up this message by sharing four simple principles that can help you as you seek to do God's will.

Principle #1: Use all your intelligence to make wise decisions.

Sometimes people talk as if you shouldn't use your brain at all but should wait for some mystical sign from God. I know the Bible says, "lean not on your own understanding" (Proverbs 3:5), but that doesn't mean to throw your brain away either. It simply means that after doing all your research on a given decision, submit it to God and ask for his help. If you need to make a major decision, don't wait for the angels to knock on your door. Use your head, study the situation, gather the facts, talk to your friends, seek godly counsel, and then submit it all to the Lord.

Principle #2: Since you can't know the future, you'll rarely have 100% certainty about most decisions.

I've already mentioned that this is perhaps our greatest stumbling block because we want 100% certainty, but in a fallen world that's hard to come by. Many people believe they must be 100% certain of God's will before they make a decision. I can understand their thinking. After all, if you are facing a life-changing decision--a potential marriage, a cross-country move, a new career, which college to attend, whether or not to begin chemotherapy--you'd like to know in advance beyond any doubt that you are doing what God wants you to do. All too often that leaves us paralyzed by an inability to make up our minds. Some decisions are so important they can't be left to chance. As the popular saying goes, "When in doubt, don't." If you aren't sure about the new job, don't take it, don't make the move, don't say yes, don't make any decision with less than total certainty.

But is that good advice?
Is it realistic?
Is that the way God normally works?

Did Noah know all about the flood? No, but he built the ark anyway.
Did Abraham have a road map? No, but he left Ur of the Chaldees anyway.
Did Moses understand what it meant to lead God's people out of Egypt? No, but he said yes when the Lord called him.
Did Joshua know how the walls were going to come tumbling down? No, but he marched around Jericho anyway.
Did Gideon fully grasp God's plan to defeat the Midianites? No, he doubted it from the beginning, but God delivered his people anyway.
Did young David have a clue of what was to come when Samuel said to Jesse, This is the one"? No, but the Spirit of the Lord came upon him anyway.
Did Jehoshaphat know how God was going to defeat the Ammonites? No, but he put the singers at the front of the army and sent them out to battle anyway.

We could add a hundred other examples from the Bible!
Did the three Hebrew children know how they would be delivered?
Was Daniel totally sure the lions would welcome him dropping in on them?
Did Peter know he could walk on water?
Did Paul know what would happen when he finally got to Rome?

The answer is always no. The life of faith means living with uncertainty even in the midst of doing God's will. That's the whole point of Hebrews 11. Those great men and women didn't shy; they didn't know the future, but they trusted God anyway, sometimes in the face of great personal suffering. And because they kept on believing when circumstances turned against them, they received a great reward.

Too many people want what God has never promised--100% certainty before they will act. So they wait and wait and they dilly and they dally and they stop and they hesitate and they ruminate. They refuse to go forward because they are waiting for 100% certainty. That leads me to this important observation: It is rarely God's will to give you 100% certainty before you make an important decision.

Principle #3: God wants guidable people who will trust him with the details of life.

Guidable people look to God and not to themselves. That is, they understand that after they have done all they can, it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.
Like young Samuel, they say, "Speak, Lord, for your servant heareth."
Like Isaiah they cry out, "Here am I, Lord, send me."
Like the Lord Jesus they pray, "Not my will but thine be done."

Let me share a secret with you. Guidable people always receive guidance from God. Always. Why? Because God always speaks loud enough for a willing ear to hear. Are you a guidable Christian? Or do you still fill you have to be in the driver's seat of life. Have you ever said, "Lord, let your will be done even if it means that my will is not done?"

Principle #4: When the time comes, make the best decision you can and leave the results with God.

This follows from everything else I've shared in this message.
When the time to decide comes, when you've thought about it, prayed about it, talked it over, sought godly counsel, researched your options, looked at the circumstances, searched the Scriptures, and waited on the Lord, when you've done everything you know how to do and the moment of truth comes, take a deep breath, close your eyes if you need to, and then just go ahead and make the best decision you can make.

When you've done that, there's one other thing to do-leave the results with God. Remember he's God and you're not. His purposes will stand.

I've already said that he wants you to know his will more than you want to know it. Knowing God's will is his problem, not yours. If you truly want to do God's will, you will do it.
God has enough trouble getting us to do his will, without making it hard to find. If you are willing to be guided by God, you will discover that he will lead you step by step by step. In the end you will be what he wants you to be, you will go where he wants you to go, and you will do what he
wants you to do. This is God's promise to guidable Christians who are willing to do his will.

long enough arms?

Just a side note, Emily. Is it really possible to hug Nigel till he starts having breathing difficulties??

Eeeek, yeah, SPM is just round the corner. I'm working my butt off trying to get everything memorised.. well, all but chemical formulae, because I absolutely hate Chemistry!!! It doesn't help that I don't know any other CBN-er who actually loves Physics as much as I do and hate Chemistry as much as I do at the same time. Grrrrr. Silly scholarships. Asking for too much. >_<

Anyone we know going to Sunway College? =D

Pleasant surprise :)

AH!!! IT'S ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

haha.... I expected the post here to be so old and outdated that I almost yelped when I saw that the latest post was dated 28th October 2005... haha...

wow... blink of an eye, one year!!

in two weeks the next batch of nscf campers will be *ahem* spreading trouble and malice *ahem* at stm again.... AND I WON'T BE THERE TO CONTRIBUTE IN THIS EVIL ACT!!

*cry*

and to make matters worst...... I HAVE TO SIT FOR THAT WRETCHED SPM!!!!

could anything be any more terrible???? :(

*sigh....*

oh well... to cheer myself up, I shall publish "spread trouble and malice, a top 10 list for all nscf campers to wreck havoc at camp" :)

1. Hug nigel until he has breathing difficulties..... he is so comfortable... :)

2. Pose everywhere... especially when you see james, the long hair guy

3. Carry a pair of scissors with you everywhere, attempt to cut james' hair when you see him (to add incentive, I will pay 100 ringgit to whomever successful in their attempt... hehe)

4. Wake up at 6 to watch the sunrise then have prayer meeting, so when kay yeow comes round to wake everyone up at 6.45, he'll have no one to wake up.... hehehe....

5. Sing "grace" (ask anyone who has been to nscf) before lunch on the third day of camp and make everyone lose their appetite due to your horrendous singing.... yay! more food for you!

6. Prepare a big load of lame jokes for garden lunch so that li yit will have lame nightmares... *smirk*

7. Promote bullying by playing "big bully".... very important!

8. Make the whole camp go "high" by adding a whole bag of sugar in the milo for supper.... tsk tsk tsk... jon, jon.....

9. Beat the officers flat in the annual captain ball/football game....... make it 100-1( 100, campers-1, officers).... yeah! (call me if that happens... haha)

10. This one is the most important.... brush up on verbal skills, search for the best debaters/public speakers in camp and be on your best behavior.... so that you'd get a chance at extended lights out on the last night..... and if you're successful... go to the basketball court, lie down and stare and thank god for all his amazing creations.... :)

have fun nscf-ers 2005!!!!!!!

*a note... don't die of shock when you see james' "oh-so-soft-smooth-and-perfect" hair, dry, frizzy, messy and absolutely unmanageable this year.... please convince him to comb/cut/ do something to his hair to make it better....*

Have Fun!! :)

random. =)

Well, hullo-ullo-ullo!! It's been ages since I last visited Blogspot, and I'm ashamed to say I actually forgot I was a registered member here. (T_T) Anyway, SPM's just round the corner and well, I really shouldn't be online in the first place, but I am already, so I may as well kill more time while I'm here. I might sound a little thick-skinned, but could some of you pray for me, as well as the others sitting for the SPM as well? I mess up every Chem paper I sit for and no matter how much I study the subject, none of the darned stuff seems to get into my head, and like, I need the A1 badly for a scholarship I'm going to apply for. I don't know how many of you got scholarships lah, but congrats if you did. =D HELP scholarship results are out, and loads of CBN-ers got them. Yaaaay.

I'm still into graphics, if you're curious lah, and if you want me to help with anything... well, can do lah. But only once SPM's over. Been experimenting with Javascripts and stuff, and different programs like MESO and Pixia and OC, and yeah lor I'm starting to wonder why I'm not planning to go into graphics in university. =/ Oh well. Yup. Still looking forward to requests, and always willing to help (with something I'm good at lah)... and... see you guys at School for Christians, if you go! =D Some of you are going for YLDP... guess I won't see you then. =(

Anyhow, God Bless! =D

The very best of luck to all those sitting for major exams this year, be it O Levels, A Levels, UEC, SATs, STPM or something else I haven't heard of.

P/S : This was quoted by an Indian pastor who spoke in my church last Sunday. I forgot his name (>_<) but this is what he said - "Sooner or later you will come to a point in life when you realise, whether or not you like it, that God is all you have. But later on, you will come to another point where you realise that God is all you need."

Things have been going quite well. Well, I've many plans to do after spm. Oh..one whole list to do..

Probably after spm, i'll see which college to go to and what my future plans are. Seriously, i'm searching for my own interest and courses which suits my interest and ability. And..yea..i still wanna do medicine. no idea why. but that looks like the only choice for me. Bleh..i sometimes feel like i've no other roads to take...one aim one focus...
need to trust God about it and pray hard lor..

fallen leaves in melaca!

incase you live in a jungle and still don't know that james has a band called fallen leaves.... he has a band called fallen leaves... haha (just felt like being lame for once-gimme a break!)
yeah... so, fallen leaves latest gig will be in MELACA!! woohoo, good news for all you people from melaca who've been wanting to catch fallen leaves in action but have been unable to becuase of the distance (since they usually play in kl) now you can!!
below are the details for the melaca gig and some stuff that james has got to say about it....

Starbucks Music Series:(Starbucks Melaka Opening Ceremony)
Venue: Starbucks Mahkota Parade
Date: 5th February 2005Time: 6pm to 8pm
Performers: Fallen Leaves, Bed Sheet Wonders, Broken Scar

Yes... KLUE and Starbucks have done it again! They're bringing good music to the people who like sipping expensive coffee while surfing online on their laptops wirelessly. If you have no idea what I'm talking about... then head on over to Melaka this weekend!

We promise you that it'll be a performance to remember. For one, I won't be there to sing and flick my long hair around. Philip and Michael will be taking over singing duties. Secondly, we'll be joined by Sue from Her Reverie. We'll be doing some of her songs as well. Don't you just love collaborations?! I do!

The gig is called the Starbucks Music Series at Starbucks Mahkota Parade. Apparently, this gig is celebrating the opening of the first Starbucks outlet in Melaka. Hooray for globalization and cultural imperialism! What happened to hanging out at our good ol' kopitiams? Where coffee didn't cost the same as a scoop of Haagen Daz ice-cream and old men sit and chat about the degradation of our society. I better not say too much... or else they'd probably cancel our slot. Oh by the way, we still haven't gotten our Starbucks vouchers from our last performances at their outlets. If you know someone who works in management, please let them know.

Everyone... have a weekend roadtrip down to Melaka. There's no better time to do it!

Tsunami Aid Day

Originally posted on the 8th of January 2005 in Underneath the Photographs:

I woke up today with very little expectations. I wasn't sure how many people would actually attend the fundraiser. And I was even more apprehensive about how many people would actually pay attention and listen to the bands. I was prepared to play to 5 listening ears (Yes, one of those 3 people is deaf in one ear). And I was also prepared to put my ventriloquist skills to use during the other bands performances by throwing my voice to create the majestic illusion that 237 people were listening, cheering, and screaming, "I want to have your baby!"

Luckily for those attending, I didn't have to resort to revealing my hidden talent as many came. It wasn't crowded, no. But for a day sprinkled with rain and a location in some corner of a Sentul suburb, the turnout was great! What was even greater was that the collections superseeded the expected RM5000 to about a total of RM14,000. What was the greatest though was the spirit of all those involved and all those who came. The solidarity and unity was a welcome change to our 21st-century world filled with violence, war and death.

Fallen Leaves Tsunami Aid Day Fallen Leaves With Sue
Mike & James Tsunami

Fallen Leaves performed 2 sets, and played with Sue, of Her Reverie, as support. The rest of her band couldn't make it, so we jammed with her on stage. Others who performed were Sam and Qings & Kueens. We had a great time performing to great people. I must say we were much more relaxed than we were than in recent gigs... must be Uncle Pete's advice starting to kick in. We talked with the crowd, dedicated songs to individuals, and raised more than RM100 as a band through CD sales for the tsunami relief efforts. It rained every time I sang. But the rain was a welcome reminder as to the purpose of the event. The skies kept the atmosphere right on this day. Light rains, just like tears, fell throughout.

I was inspired and decided to sing 'All I Can Say' by David Crowder. I began, "If the tsunami victims were to say any prayer at this point of time, or sing a song... it'd probably be this one."

Lord I'm tired
So tired from walking
And Lord I'm so alone
And Lord the dark
Is creeping in
Creeping up
To swallow me
I think I'll stop
Rest here a while

Chorus:
And this is all that I can say right now
And this is all that I can give
And this is all that I can say right now
And this is all that I can give (That's my everything)

And didn't You see me cry'n?
And didn't You hear me call Your name?
Wasn't it You I gave my heart to?
I wish You'd remember
Where you sat it down

Chorus:
And this is all that I can say right now
And this is all that I can give
And this is all that I can say right now
And this is all that I can give (That's my everything)

Bridge:
I didn't notice You were standing here
I didn't know that
That was You holding me
I didn't notice You were cry'n too
I didn't know that
That was You washing my feet

Chorus:
And this is all that I can say right now
And this is all that I can give
And this is all that I can say right now
And this is all that I can give (That's my everything)

Yes, we wish them all hope and peace; things we speak easily about, but may never truly understand their significance until we lose them...

Folks,

How's it going so far in your one month in school already?
How's it going for your CFs?
Has anything changed since you came back from camp?
Did you guys put into practice the RM 180 worth of stuff into your CFs?
C'mon!
Share it here with us, so that we may be encouraged by your success stories, so that we may keep you in prayer if you're facing difficulties!
Isn't this what this blog/group is about anyway?

I thought of sharing something which I was reflecting on recently: As the leader's of tomorrow, let's not be satisfied with the status quo. Let's constantly challenge ourselves to relook at areas where we can improve, and begin to work and improve on them. But we should do so with this in mind: that Christ loved everyone and He died for all.

Hoping to hear from you, and looking forward to seeing you @ da SCF convention (in MBS again!).

Blessings!
Marcus
